LAKESIDE PRIDE Music Ensembles brings members and friends of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community together through music. Each performance by one of our four major ensembles – marching band, jazz band, symphonic band, and symphony orchestra – enable our members to forge a powerful connection with audiences everywhere.

This year, the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame selected LAKESIDE PRIDE to be a 2011 inductee. We are very honored by this recognition, which reflects the contributions hundreds of our ensemble members, and our supporters, have made to the City of Chicago. Our thanks and appreciation goes to each of them for helping us make a difference for our community through music.

The induction ceremony will take place on Wed., Nov. 9 at the Chicago History Museum. The event will be free and open to the public.
